Privacy Policy
This policy explains what the Bookcase collects, why it is needed, and the choices available to listeners and readers.
Effective August 8, 2026
Information the Bookcase uses
When you sign in, the Bookcase uses your account email and an internal listener identifier to remember credits, unlocked chapters, ebook access, and listening progress across supported devices. Anonymous visitors receive a temporary listener identifier for free-content progress until they sign in.
When you make a purchase, the Bookcase records the amount, item, payment status, and Square transaction identifier. Card numbers and security codes are handled by Square and are not stored by the Bookcase.
How information is used
Information is used to deliver purchased content, maintain your balance and library, restore listening position after sign-in, prevent duplicate transactions, provide support, and protect the service from misuse.
Service providers
Square processes payments. The Bookcase hosting and storage providers deliver the website, audio, ebooks, and operational records. These providers receive only the information needed to perform their services.
Retention and security
Purchase and entitlement records may be retained for accounting, fraud prevention, support, and legal obligations. Reasonable technical safeguards are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Bookcase is not directed to children under 13. Mature themes may appear in Harper J. Knight’s fiction, and store age-rating information will be provided where required.
Your choices
You can request access to or deletion of listener data through the data deletion page. Questions may be sent to sarah.iha.practitoner@yourselfholisticcenter.com.
